Night At The Derby
The Party Team sends you to the tracks with our very own Night at the Derby!
Photo finishes, instant replays, official results, and payouts according to the live odds are given in this exciting high-participation group activity. All that’s missing are the horses and jockeys themselves!
Our Night at the Derby program features 6 professionally taped and edited horse races from the country’s largest horse race tracks, including Santa Anita and Churchill Downs.
Game Show Gala!
A unique FUNdraising event packed with financial success and entertainment for your crowd of supporters.
The Party Team produces a game show made to look and feel like the televised game show Family Feud that we call Survey Says. The production is complete with Game Show Host, his/her assistant that runs our software, music and lighting, the face-off podium on center stage, team booths, projection, sound, and uplighting. The “set” is located at the head of the room, preferably on a large stage that the venue provides.
The Game Show Gala is produced at a venue of your choice that is large enough for your crowd and appropriate for the event. The game show set is roughly 35 feet wide and 16’ deep.
The crowd consists of the competing teams, their guests who purchased tickets, and your general supporters who came to support the event and watch the fun.
How fundraising works for the Game Show Gala:
Your organization organizes 8 teams of 6 players each. Ideally each team is a corporate group that has 6 team members/employees playing collectively for the team. For example, US Bank has a team of 6 staff that form the US Bank team. It does not cost anything for the corporate group to participate, however each member of the team is responsible for raising $1000 (can be any amount you choose) toward their team goal - in this example a team total of $6000.
8 teams are each responsible for raising $6000, creating revenue of at least $48,000. I underline “at least” because each team member can raise as much as possible, and are not limited to $1000 each. To reward overachieving their goal, the teams that raise the most funds are given bonus points to start the round, and much like an athletic tournament bracket, the top raising team will match up against the team that raises the least.
Paddle Raise:
In the middle of the production we recommend a presentation and paddle raise fundraiser. Combining a video and testimonial from a program beneficiary can be a powerful message - especially after your crowd has been drinking and having fun for the last couple of hours. Your emcee solicits guests to raise their paddles at various amounts. It is a powerful fundraiser.

Prizes:
Only one Grand Prize is needed for the event. It must be a great GROUP prize for winning, such as a suite to an event, or something that can be split 6 ways. We also recommend a prize for the top fundraising team and the top fundraising individual.

Game Production Format:
We will play an 8-team single elimination tournament with a total of 7 rounds. The #1 Fundraising team (the team that was able to raise the most money for Game Show Gala), facing off against the 8th seeded team (the team that raised the lowest amount).
The Game Show Host calls up the first 2 teams to compete in the first round. Teams get settled behind their team booth on stage and the host introduces the team like you would see on the Family Feud. The host announces how much each team raised, and the host awards the bonus points the higher seed has earned. The teams play through 2 questions/surveys as their scores are recorded. The team that receives the highest score after the 2 surveys advances to the next round.
The remaining matchups between the remaining 6 teams are played the same way to get to the championship game with the final 2 teams. Again 2 questions are performed to crown our Game Show Gala Championship!
